With the latest ATE (Ashell) its now possible to create Excel documents when exporting directly from the Madics data-grids, before hand you could only export to a CSV.
This ATE/Ashell enhancement also give Madics the ability to create Excel documents (with some additional programming required) , Currently Sales Quotes can now now be emailed in a Excel format along with the PDF.

For the data-grid export's ATE version 6.5.1660.3 or later is required, Please click here for the latest ATE Client.
This feature is not supported on AIX Servers, an some older Linux server.
If you find the Excel export stops on exporting with a progress bar and Excel is not launched it maybe your ATE has the missing libxl.dll (depending on what Version of ATE you have installed), If so you can download just the dll from here (extract from the zip) and place it into the PC's c:\ATE\bin folder.
